Conflict Early Warning Information System
Kabarole Research and Resource Centre (KRC): Developed an early warning conflict monitoring system which allows collection of data around different probable areas of conflict like Land Disputes, People movement, mobilization and many others using mobile phones. KRC staff initiate the data collection process by sending out an SMS question in connection to any suspected conflict outbreak to different KRC reporters (who are all around the region being monitored) who then send feed back to the system which gives an automated representation of these results on maps and graphs. The maps and graphs are analyzed by KRC staff to decide on whether to go ahead and investigate the suspected conflict out break or if it was a false alarm. If a decision to investigate the issue further is reached, the KRC staff members will collected more detailed data using a mobile data collection form which allows online and offline data collection. Information from the detailed investigation is analyzed to find all possible ways to avoid any conflict out breaks.

Data is collected on field activities relating to formation and training of Producer Organizations using a web-based client application that enables synchronization of form data with a cloud-based server when an internet connection is obtained. AHF Uganda M&E Dashboard
AHF Uganda is a collaboration between AIDS Healthcare Foundation (USA) and the Ministry of Health in Uganda to provide free HIV/AIDS care including antiretroviral care, HIV counselling and Testing (HCT), Prevention, training and support to people living with HIV/AIDS in resource constrained settings. The Uganda Cares (UC) program currently operate in 17 districts with a total of 44 affiliated clinics providing HIV/AIDS care, HCT and antiretroviral therapy to over 70,000 clients. As a means to support the monitoring and evaluation function of their interventions, UC contracted OMNI-tech to develop a system that captures data on various indicators and presents summary reports. The system will collect aggregate and source data on various activities at regular intervals.
